However, there is a fundamental difference between Attention Deficit Disorder and Asperger Syndrome.

Aspies lack what doctors call “social reciprocity” or Theory of Mind.

Rory Bremner has revealed that he suffers from attention deficit disorder after being tested for the illness while making a documentary.


The comedian, 56, was diagnosed with ADHD while making the Horizon science programme for BBC2 and now takes methylphenidate – which used to be known as Ritalin - to help him focus.
